Second week of the year

sg1scribeAnd it's been busy, busy (I know, what's new).
I finally got my lazy bum up and out in running shoes: 2 x 2.2 miles and then 4 miles on Saturday. I'm well chuffed with that - it wasn't easy, but it was easier than I expected. I need to up the miles this week.
Work continues to be crazy - two big corporate parties this week, then a cultural evening, plus various other meetings. This week looks quieter though, thank goodness.
I pecked away at the novel a couple of evenings, and I'm up to date with my course. Poetry really isn't my thing, but I am learning to appreciate it more.

Very annoyed at falling asleep while watching Sherlock. I will try again tonight via iplayer. I now have seasons 1 and 2 of Leverage so that will be evening viewing with the Hubby for a while. We've seen bits here and there so it is fun to watch from the beginning. Annoyed that new Fringe doesn't air here for ages yet (had my fingers burned with attempting to DL - evil virus thing caused me grief for a day - so won't be risking that again - I need this laptop for work).
Other than that, is it December 14th yet? *g*
